January 24, 2025 - WFRS has held its first meeting of the year, and elected a new Board of Directors to keep us growing and dynamic going forward, and always able to meet the needs of the ferrets in our care and our community.

Continuing Board Members

Vondelle McLaughlin continues as our Shelter Director.
Dr. Holly Carter DVM continues as our Medical Director.
Lyra Reynolds continues as our Facilities Manager.
Dr. Izzy Holford DVM continues as a Board Member at Large, working with the Medical Director.

Changing Board Members

Kevin Farlee, previously the President, is now the Executive Director.
Chris Clemens, previously the Vice President, is now the President.
Dr. Summer Krook, previously the Fundraising Coordinator, is now the Vice President.
Rachelle Myers, previously the Records Manager, is now the Foster Coordinator.

New Board Members

Kenn Krook has joined us as the Assistant Treasurer.
Mevima Winn has joined us as the Records Manager and Webmaster.
